THE ROLE

This role offers a great opportunity to further develop your career in purpose driven brand consultancy, where you’ll be challenged to wear multiple hats, work directly with our multi-disciplinary team, liaise with clients and represent us at Boardroom level. You’ll also be trusted to take ownership of your work and will be given significant responsibilities to own, grow and drive forward Brandpie’s research and insight offering from day one, working closely with internal stakeholders.


As a Head of Insights:
  • You will have at least 10 years experience working in a leading management consultancy, brand consultancy, brand strategy or digital strategy consulting company, or market research agency.
  • You will have a keen interest in Purpose and its role as a decision making tool in business.
  • Our vision is to build an integrated research and insights practice as part of our growing consultancy offer, so an experience in a similar role would be ideal (not essential), along with being stimulated by the challenge to build the practice and an ability to bring one’s own ideas to help shape the business.
  • You will have significant experience developing, managing and delivering research projects in complex sectors, such as technology, energy, healthcare and professional services.
  • You will have experience managing and negotiating with quantitative and qualitative research suppliers.
  • You will be able to ask the right questions of clients to advise them about the right type of research approach and methodology/methodologies to answer their most pressing questions.
  • You will be comfortable designing end-to-end research projects, including:
    • Budget creation
    • Research supplier briefing and selection
    • Survey programming (i.e. Typeform) may sometimes be required
    • Questionnaire and discussion guide design
    • Interview moderation, including with senior executives
    • Analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
    • Drawing out unique insights from data
    • Report creation, telling a story with the data
    • Presentation of findings to senior executives (internally and externally).
  • You will be responsible for development of IP and bespoke research methodologies, tools and approaches to data collection, analysis and reporting, applying best practice to all research approaches.
  • You will manage qualitative research projects and contribute toward analysis of findings with the support from the wider project team.
  • You will be able to speak with authority on measurement approaches both internally and externally as it pertains to brand perception, tracking and reputation.
  • You will have demonstrated experience at showcasing the value of rsearch to non-research clients, partners, and other stakeholders, being viewed as a trusted advisor internally and externally.
  • You will be able and willing to own, direct and enhance the reputation of our own in-house thought leadership projects, such as CEO Purpose Report, client surveys (including NPS) and the Purpose Diagnostic.

  • Generous reward package: We provide industry competitive salaries that reflect experience and ability. We anticipate the salary for this role will be between £70,000-£80,0000 per annum (depending on experience). We offer additional benefits including medical and life insurance, gym membership contributions and a company pension scheme.

We will not insist that our people are office based and respect everyone’s individual preference.
