An Ode to Christmas jumpers

Jess Swinton, Consultant, on the joys of a Christmas Jumper.

Colin Firth’s has a Rudolf face:

Hilarious or hideous? Endure or embrace?

Red and green should never be seen

Ironic, itchy and everything in between!

Santa’s wearing his, belting Ho Ho Ho.

Toffs wearing theirs, bantering about snow.

Made by Granny, a hairy hipster or Primark,

Argyll prints that go up in a spark-

Sweatshop made monstrosities are an awful thing,

Jingle your bells and everyone will sing.

Ultra practical in the cooler weather,

Make the world better by wearing a sweater.

Part and parcel of the festive season,

Eating, drinking, commit fashion treason.

Remember the excitement of Christmas morning.

Sling on a silly jumper, don’t be boring!
